Patrick Johnson - Cooling tips:

Try a half-lined jacket to permit air-flow around the torso and under arms. Aim for light cotton socks (and maybe with some universal cooler and lighter colours; blue, light grey, champagne will go with most outfits). Or, lose the socks altogether and buy some Daktarin. Wear your trousers and sleeves just a bit shorter to get air around the ankles and wrists, you lose heat easily here through shallow veins. It seems counter-intuitive, but a thin mercerised cotton undershirt or singlet can actually keep you cooler in summer. Why? Because it absorbs your perspiration, diffuses it and evaporates it at a faster rate, in turn accelerating heat loss. Mum made you wear them for a reason. Respect your mother!
